Description
Join our innovative team for the following position: Our client located in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester. The successful candidate will participate with a team of others to complete quality assurance related activities, including analysis, test preparation and test execution activities for a web based application. The applicant will also communicate with both technical and non-technical project team members to support the analysis, design, testing, troubleshooting and mitigation of project issues and risk as necessary. Responsibilities: - Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to identify testing needs. - Develop solid test documentation, including the creation, maintenance and execution of Test Plans and Test Cases (manual or automated) - Support of conversion, system, interface, and user acceptance testing efforts - Maintain documentation of quality assurance activities in the appropriate project repositories, e.g., Mercury Quality Center or SharePoint - Execution of test sets to validate the software is working as expected - Exhibit knowledge of regression and performance monitoring automated testing tools - Analyze software problems, provide clear and concise defect reports and follow defect tracking practices based on internal QA standards and processes Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field - 5 + years of related testing experience (manual or automated) - Knowledge in Back-End testing specifically with developing and executing SQL queries to interact with Databases - Experience with Mercury Quality Center for defect tracking and test case - Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Preferred: - Knowledge of SOA, web services, Single Sign-On testing, tools, principles and disciplines - Familiarity with testing tools such as Mercury Quick Test Pro and LoadRunner - Financial services experience is a plus When Hired: - ConsultUSA will invest in you by providing training to enable you to grow and diversify your skill set to keep abreast of the latest technologies - ConsultUSA will work closely with you to develop an exciting career path of your choosing, focusing on your key strengths - You will work within a dynamic team environment gaining invaluable experience - You will be a part of a growing organization focused on success and empowerment How to Apply: - For consideration, email MS Word resumes to Amanda@consultusa.com - Please include position number 5706 in the subject line when applying ConsultUSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer
