Description
Join our innovative team for the following position: Our client located in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a SQL Server DBA. The successful candidate will maintain multiple SQL Server environments and perform Backup/Restore/Database maintenance. Responsibilities: - Monitor performance and propose enhancements to T-SQL queries - Troubleshoot application issues - Promote project and production support code builds through controlled environments - Support development efforts and enforce SQL standards and best practices Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field - 3 + years Database administration experience - Experience supporting and maintaining multiple SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 environments (32 and 64bit) - Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS deployment and troubleshooting - Experience developing queries and stored procedures along with performance tuning of existing code - Understanding of SQL Server Clustering, Batch Support (ActiveBatch is a plus), and performance tuning/troubleshooting - Experience with SQL Replication, log shipping, and Database design - Knowledge of Windows 2003 and SAN - Ability to work off business hours and occasional weekends required - Microsoft Certification is a plus When Hired: - ConsultUSA will invest in you by providing training to enable you to grow and diversify your skill set to keep abreast of the latest technologies - ConsultUSA will work closely with you to develop an exciting career path of your choosing, focusing on your key strengths - You will work within a dynamic team environment gaining invaluable experience - You will be a part of a growing organization focused on success and empowerment How to Apply: - For consideration, email MS Word resumes to Amanda@consultusa.com - Please include position number 5742 in the subject line when applying ConsultUSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer
