Description
Our client located in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Configuration Manager. The successful candidate will work in a very dynamic IT environment configuring and setting up new applications and modifications to existing applications in support of many new business initiatives. The applicant will manage complex software deployments in a production or QA environment. The candidate will also serve as a mentor to the other technical support specialists. Responsibilities: - Assess the impact of scheduled system changes on software applications - Resolves critical system failures with appropriate application development, database administration, hardware engineering and system administration organizations - Provide input for improvement to configuration management, software changes, hardware changes and/or networks Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field - Knowledge of Maven is essential - Basic familiarity with Java development, SQL, WebLogic, and Eclipse - Experience with configuration management - Understanding of WebLogic configuration and management, including configuration of WebLogic Managed Servers Why Pittsburgh? http://www.consultusa.com/whypittsburgh.html How to Apply: - For consideration, email MS Word resumes to Amanda@consultusa.com - Please include position number 5759 in the subject line when applying ConsultUSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer
